$9 Million in Horizontal Construction of Residences

A residential and commercial complex is being developed in Costa Rica on a 21,000-square-meter site, which will include amenities for condominium owners.

"A vertical residential development with 29 residential buildings will be developed, with a construction of almost 15,000 square meters.

Each building will be five levels high with apartments ranging from 347 to 641 square meters.

Increased Investment in Mountain Homes in Panama

Real estate developers are backing residential building along the central mountain range.

With an investment of nearly $14 million, the company Canion Properties Corporation is to build two new stages of its project Hacienda Los Molinos in Boquete.

"But this is not the only mountain residential project being developed in the country, in fact, in Boquete foreign investor Sam Taliaferro is developing the Valle Escondido Resort, Golf & Spa project, a resort style residential community in the highlands of Panama, whose main attractions are its location, climate, and topography, but this project is targeting international buyers," noted an article in Capital.com.pa

6 Companies Interested in “Manuel Castillo” Residential Project

So far, at least 6 companies have expressed their interest in developing the $25 million project in Panama.

These companies, which must submit their bids on July 7, are Meco, Constructora Novoa, Heymocol-Promocon, Ingeniería Rec, Omega Engineering Inc and Cedeño Consorcio.

Three Companies Bid $95 Million for Curundú Project

Meco, Oderbrecht and Cusa are the three companies still in contention for developing the urban infrastructure project.

All three of them proposed costs around $95 million, from Cusa's bid at $94.933.650 to Meco's at $95.397.750.

According to Prensa.com, "Proyecto Curundú" comprises transforming some 160.000 square meters in the locality of the same name.
