$95 million Industrial Area Planned in Limón

The project Parque Industrial del Caribe in Costa Rica, includes the construction of an industrial free zone measuring 41,000 m2, an 8,300 m2 office center and an 11 000 m2 shopping center, as well as Ofibodegas and a hotel.

The companies behind the project announced plans to begin construction of the Caribbean Industrial Park (PIC by its initials in Spanish) in the first quarter of 2016. They added that they already have municipal permits and in the coming days will apply for environmental permits. The project will have a commercial module, a hotel module and an industrial module.

Nacion.com reports that "... The developers are the companies Terrenos de Costa Rica, Telecom 506 and Consultora y Constructora Gutiérrez & Gallardo S. A. " In the PIC "... a 72-room hotel will be inserted, with a convention center for 600 people and a housing complex with educational services."

Gustavo Gutierrez, from Gutierrez & Gallardo added that "... The investment is estimated at $95 million and sales at $120 million in the first stage.Initial funding will be with Banco Nacional. We are looking for investors and other income. "
