$85 million Shopping Center Planned

In El Salvador, an environmental impact study has been presented to build a 18 story shopping center with 13 thousand m2 of leasable area in the San Benito neighborhood, which will be connected by means of a walkway to the Sheraton Presidente Hotel.

Hoteles y Desarrollos S.A. de C.V. submitted an environmental impact study (EIA) in San Salvador to construct a building with 18 stories, 100 meters high, and 5 basements with capacity for 870 vehicles. 

The document states that it will have a 1,200 m2 LED screen facade, and the roof of the shopping center will be retractable. There will be 13,000 m2 of rentable area with premises of 20 m2, and the building will be connected to the Sheraton hotel by means of a walkway.   

The building will have four commercial levels, four levels of corporate floors, six levels for an 80 room hotel, three levels of rooms for events and a roofed terrace with a 360 ° view. It will also have a recording set and megavision group studios (channel 15, 19 and 21)."
