$7 million Investment in Hospital

The consortium Edica-Consultécnica will be in charge of the construction of a hospital center in Ciudad Quesada, Costa Rica.

The Comptroller General of the Republic has approved a contract for the construction of National Insurance Institute hospital, in Ciudad Quesada.

Explains Crhoy.com that "... The project was named 'Contract for Professional Services for the Design, Preliminary Studies, Preliminary Draft, Environmental Viability, Design of Construction Plans, Technical Specifications, Detailed Budget, Execution of Remodeling and Turnkey Construction and Equipment of the Reference Medical Center and Site in Ciudad Quesada'."

"... According to the agreement the work must be delivered within 270 calendar days from its award."

Hospital Work Awarded For $17 Million

In Panama, Edificadora Centroamericana Rapiparedes, S.A. was awarded the contract for the studies, designs and development of plans for the Metropolitan Regional Health Headquarters.

In the resolution published on February 28 in Panamacompra, the contract was awarded for "Studies, designs and development for preliminary and final plans, supply and installation of medical equipment and furniture for the replacement of the Regional Metropolitan Health Headquarters."

The company Isolux Corsán will have six months from today to present a preliminary design for the hospital, to be built within a maximum period of 24 months.

Panama: Contract to Build a Children's Hospital Approved

May 2016

A $7.6 million contract has finally been endorsed for the design of the Children's Hospital, nearly six months after it was awarded to the companies Pinearq, S.L.P. and Ayesa.

From the delivery of the order to proceed, the consortium "Diseño Hospital del Niño" will have nine months to design and make the construction plans for the medical center.

Awards: $41 million Hospital Works

April 2016

The Social Security Department of Panama has awarded to Constructora Nova SA a contract to design, build and equip the new hospital in Almirante, in the province of Bocas del Toro.

The contract awarded to Constructora Nova SA is for "technical studies, hospital architectural designs, development and approval of plans, environmental impact study category 2, construction, furniture, medical equipment and personnel training for the new hospital."
