$7 Million in Steel Structures

In Costa Rica, the National Roads Council tenders the supply of modular steel trusses in delivery mode according to demand, to be used in vehicular bridges.

Costa Rica Government Purchase 2019LN-000010-0006000001:

"The objective is to establish a contractual relationship of delivery according to demand for the supply of modular trusses that can be launched with one or two lanes. Quotations shall be based on unit price, based on cost projections deemed pertinent by the supplier and also considering that the eventual demand of the Administration shall be framed in the estimated lengths and amount of execution, as indicated below:

-Hot immersion galvanized steel frame, modular, launching, one way, lower vehicular passage, Bailey type or similar designed for live load HL-93, 54m±1m long, with steel floor and roadway of 4.20m minimum width, for Temporary Use bridges.
-Steel frame, modular, launching, double track, lower vehicular passage, designed for live load HL-93, 90±2m long, with reinforced concrete floor and roadway of 7.30m wide minimum, with two external pedestrian footbridges for Permanent Use.
-Modular, launching, two-way, modular steel girder with vehicular underpass, designed for HL-93 live load, 120±2m long, with reinforced concrete floor and 7.30m wide minimum carriageway, with two external pedestrian footbridges for Permanent Use."
