$6.8 million Internet Access Tender

The Ministry of Education in Panama is putting out to tender internet access in schools, administrative centers and offices nationwide.

Panama Government Purchase 2013-0-07-0-99-AV-016284:

"INTERNET ACCESS SERVICE, INSTALLATION AND SETUP, IN SCHOOLS, REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE CENTERS AND OFFICES NATIONWIDE."

The scheduled date of opening of bids is November 25, 2013.

The date and time of the clarification meeting is November 14, 2013 at 10:00 am.

The Purchasing Department of the Ministry of Education is seeking suppliers for this contract for IT and Telecommunications services.

The date and time for submitting proposals is October 2, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Panama Offers Free Internet access

The 220 “Infoplazas Senacyt”, located in different regions of the country, will provide free internet service.

The President, who made the announcement on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, informed the public that the National Internet Network will be expanded to a thousand points by the end of 2011.
