The Costa Rican Railway Institute tenders the labor service for the conduction and management of the trains of the Pacific and Atlantic Sector.

"This service contemplates the operation of passenger, tourism, freight and work trains in the following areas.

Pacific Sector:
Ciruelas-Puntarenas: From km 18.7 (San Rafael de Ojo de Agua) to km 116 (Puntarenas) including the Purruja branch. Total: 98 km.

Cartago-San José-Heredia-Alajuela: From km 167 San José Atlantic Station to Turrialba km 102.8, From km 167 San José Atlantic Station to Alajuela km 188 Atlantic and Pacific Station 3 km from km 0 Pacific Station to Ciruelas km 22.7 Alajuela Ciruelas Junction km 0 to Alajuela 8km Total: 118.9 km.

Atlantic sector:
Siquirres: Between Margarita Km 41.2 and San Cristobal Km 109. (67.8 Kilometers of the Main Road). Includes Monte Verde Branch Line (19 kilometers). Total 86.8 Kilometers.

Limon: Between Limon Km 0 and Siquirres Km 62. (62 Kilometers of the Main Road). Includes Ramal Valle Estrella (56 Kilometers). Total 118 Kilometers."

Monorail Metro for Costa Rica
