$40 Million Planned for New Residential

A residential condominium of 591 houses is planned to be built in the province of Cartago, Costa Rica, which together will total a construction area of 146 thousand square meters.

According to the interactive information system "Construction in Central America" from CentralAmericaData, Cafetalera André, S.A. plans to build a residential complex called "Condominio Sotavento" in the district of Concepción, in La Unión canton.

According to the document, the project consists of the construction and operation of a main condominium composed of eight residential sub-condominiums, for up to 591 residential units or individualized primary subsidiary farms. The residential will have a 146 thousand m2 construction area and 34 thousand m2 of green areas.

The planned works include the installation of a playground, construction of streets and sidewalks, perimeter fence, electric lighting, treatment plant, and a parking lot.

The study details that close to $39.8 million will be invested in the construction of the condominium.
