Thursday, May 30, 2013

Antigua Guatemala - A congregation of tourism shareholders-including government officials, tourism ministries, tour and port operators and more- and cruise executives from FCCA Member Lines gathered today in Antigua, Guatemala for the FCCA Central America Cruise Summit. This event features one-on-one meetings, workshops and social functions that will educate attendees about the cruise industry and how to optimize its benefits while also helping them develop business relationships with key decision makers.

"We are proud to offer this forum to expand cruise tourism opportunities for our current and potential partners throughout Central America," said Michele Paige, president, FCCA. "We aim to create symbiotic relationships between the cruise industry and its destination partners, and the Summit will provide attendees with insight into the inner workings of the industry and valuable information to cultivate business with the lines while also displaying the potential of the Central American product to our Member Line executives."

The Summit is taking place May 29-30 in Santo Domingo del Cerro, Antigua, Guatemala.
