$200 Million in Deals Expected at Apparel Show

Businessmen from 13 countries are participating in the XIX edition of “Apparel Sourcing Show”, which is taking place from today until March 25 in Guatemala City.

Over 100 companies from Central America, the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Canada and the Dominican Republic are represented at the event.

The event has a product showcase area of 2.000 square meters, which includes machinery and technology. Its organizers expect the fair to close deals for $200 million.

Chinese Interested in Guatemalan Textile Sector

Within the framework of the Apparel Sourcing Show, a delegation of Chinese textile entrepreneurs will be visiting the country in May, to explore business opportunities in the sector.

The Apparel Sourcing Show event will be held from May 23 to 25 at the Grand Tikal Futura Hotel, and will bring together textile companies from the Central American region and from other countries.
