Panama: $135 million for Hospital Equipment

The Social Security Department has announced it has $135 million for the procurement of medical equipment and construction works to be tendered in the short term.

From a statement issued by the National Assembly of Panama:

In order to make improvements, contracts and purchase medical equipment for hospitals, clinics, ULAPS, and health centers across the country, the Budget Committee approved nine transfers of items for a total amount of 135.3 million to the Social Security Department (CSS).

El Salvador: Hospital Investments for $150 million

The government has announced investments in medical equipment for the 30 existing hospitals and the construction of two in La Union and San Miguel, plus an ophthalmology center.
