$12 Million in Industrial Complex Projected

On an area of approximately 43,000 square meters in Alajuela, Costa Rica, an industrial complex consisting of 41 office-warehouses is planned.

Pinto Lopez Hermanos LTDA submitted to the National Environmental Technical Secretariat the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) to develop the project called, "Construction of 41 office-warehouses Las Cañas and parking in green areas, with treatment plant."

The site to be located in the district of Rio Segundo, will have office-warehouses, parking spaces and green areas. Regarding the water supply, the document states that the project will be provided with liquid through an artisanal well that is located within the property.

According to the study it is projected to invest about $11.5 million.

$8 Million in Industrial Park in Guatemala

Guatemala is planning to build an industrial park called "Zona Empresarial El Naranjo", which will include a warehouse, commercial area and services, with a total construction area of 365,484 square meters.

New Logistics Project in Guatemala

Calidad Inmobiliaria announced that it will build in Condado Naranjo, municipality of Mixco, a logistic center of 72 warehouses distributed in a four level tower.

According to information provided by the project's directors, the new industrial complex will be called "Districentro" and is currently in the launching stage.

Villa Nueva, Villa Canales and San Miguel Petapa, are the municipalities in Guatemala that have a high commercial opportunity for new developments of warehouses and industrial parks.

Although the greatest potential for developing new warehouse-office parks in the country is located in the southern municipalities of the metropolitan area, there are also growth opportunities in the El Naranjo sector, in Mixco, and also in the Atlantic exit.

Ofibodegas California logistics park, consisting of 15 industrial buildings and located at kilometer 63 of the Puerto Quetzal highway, will begin operations in November.

The company which developed the new industrial complex of 19 thousand square meters was Construcciones Modernas, S.A. (Comosa), investing about $10 million in the project.
