From the CAPAC statement:

Consolidated as the most important real estate fair in the local market, Expo Vivienda 2019, organized by the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC), exceeded expectations of achieving transactions in the order of $120 million, according to preliminary figures, which means a boost in the reactivation of the construction industry.

The amount of transactions approved during the fair will increase because the contacts made by developers and mortgage banks will produce new transactions in the coming months.

Throughout the four days, the fair event -which took place at the Atlapa Convention Center- showed the interaction of buying and selling operations between developers, real estate brokers, mortgage banks and buyers.

At the inauguration, the Deputy Minister of Housing and Planning, Juan Manuel Vasquez, acknowledged that "for the good development of the country is necessary the contribution of private enterprise as the engine of the national economy, especially in the real estate industry."
