Companies from the U.S., China and Chile have submitted expressions of interest to participate in the remodeling of the Honduran airport.
The information was provided by the concessionaire of the airports, Aeropuertos de Honduras, in a meeting with the board of the Honduran Council of Private Enterprise (COHEP), where they presented an investment program for updating the airport terminals.
As of March 14, flights between the two countries will be considered domestic, simplifying and expediting migration and freight procedures.
With the entry into force of the Regulation for the Development of Air and Airport Operations, flight frequencies between airports in Honduras and Guatemala will have the characteristics of domestic flights.
