After reviewing the proposals of the only two companies which participated in the process, the evaluation committee disqualified Spanish builder FCC Construcción, as it failed to meet the minimum technical requirements.
In order for the $587 million project to start, the only thing now needed is approval of the contract between Panama’s Social Security Department and the company FCC Construction by the Controller General of the Republic.
