Port Authorities form the Panama Canal and Curacao signed an agreement to promote the exchange of trade and tourism.
Díalogo Ciudadano.com reports that "The agreement will last for two years and was signed by the administrator of the Canal, Alberto Alemán Zubieta, and the director of the Curacao Port Authority, Richard López Ramírez, with the purpose of supporting economic growth in both countries, the AFP reported."
The aim of the alliance is to negotiate new routes between the two countries, as well as strengthening business relationships and existing tourism.

An open skies agreement between Panama and Curacao has been signed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Panama (AAC), through its Director General, Rafael Barcenas Chiari, a delegation from the Panamanian entity and members of the Civil Aviation Authority of Curaçao.
