Austrian entrepreneurs representing ten companies will visit Guatemala next March and, later, Nicaragua and El Salvador.
As reported by Prensalibre.com, "In the mission organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala and the commercial attaché of Austria in Mexico, businesspersons of the sectors of the environment, renewable energies, plastics, engineering and technical training will participate."
The third International Fair on Renewable Energy, Expoenergia 2009, will be held in San Pedro Sula through February 28th.
German Briceño from LaPrensahn.com writes: “The fair will include experts and representatives from more than 30 European companies from the renewable energy sector of Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Finland and Belgium...and it will include conferences with experts from public and private institutions as well as multilateral organizations, technical experts and a forum of Energy Ministers from Central America.”
The Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation is combating countries considered tax havens, and Panama is in the list.
A report on fiscal cooperation published by OEDC on september 29 states that "there are still important restrictions in accesing banking information with fiscal purposes" in three of it member countries (Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland), and in other tax havens like Panama and Singapur.
