The hospitality franchise will build 13 hotels in the next 7 years, for a total 500 rooms.
Construction of the first of them will begin by the end of 2010, in Pan Canal shopping mall, Albrook, Panama City.
“Lincoln García, president of Interoceanic Hotels, explained that they aim for upper middle class customers. 'Panama currently has either luxury or cheap hotels. We want to add a new option for middle class tourists'”.
