Today Citibank will officially begin to operate under that name in Nicaragua, after having acquired the Uno Financial Group.
The bank has completed the integration process in Nicaragua, after having bought the Salvadoran bank, Cuscatlan, almost a year ago for approximately 1.5 billion dollars.
Citibank Nicaragua will now integrate the operations of Bank Uno, Aval Card, Inverexpo, Cititarjetas, Citivalores Accival, and will have a total of more than 140,000 clients from the following segments: small and medium business, personal, commercial and corporate banking. It will also have 1,200 workers, a net worth of $37.7 million and assets totaling over $293 million.
