What is Data Maturity?
Data maturity is a measure used to determine where a company's data quality, structure, distribution, security, and analytics are in their progress.
Using today's technology, it is possible to know and accurately monitor consumer mobility, identify the places they visit, how often they do so, at what times and on what days, and transform this mobility and pedestrian flow data into solutions for optimizing commercial and marketing strategies.
People mobility is a concept that covers much more than just movement.
The General Directorate of Public Procurement of Panama is putting out to tender cellular voice and data mobile telephony services for State entities, for a period of 18 months.

"Annual plans are required with equipment included.Cell phone services are being tendered in seven different lines that include air minutes, and device specifications.On the other hand, mobile data services will be done through twelve different lines.
In 2016, Costa Rica registered just over $3.3 billion in exports of services through means of technology, information and communication networks.
Of the total value exported, 88% corresponds to large companies, although there is also a significant participation of micro-enterprises (7%). The remaining 5% is shared between medium and small companies.
Since rules came into effect on number portability, Costa Rica's state telephone company has lost 559 thousand lines, which have swelled the client lists of the two foreign competitors that operate in the mobile telephony market.
The possibility of keeping the same cell phone number and changing operator has existed since November 2013, and since then, Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) has lost almost 560 thousand lines, which passed into the hands of Telefónica, which operates the brand Movistar, and Claro, a brand of the Mexican company América Móvil.
The communications giant has requested authorization to operate in the country in the market of data transfer services under the model of leased lines.

Between 2013 and 2015 data traffic grew by 200%, and the state-owned ICE continued to lose its share in the mobile phone market, going from 62% in 2014 to 58% in 2015.

On October 28th the Telecommunications Superintendency will be giving a public presentation on the charges for downloading via internet on postpaid mobile phones.

Users will have new charging scheme for postpaid mobile internet
The Superintendency of Telecommunications (Sutel) today announced an additional proposal for a charging scheme for data transfer internet services for postpaid mobile phones, which will be submitted to public consultation in the coming days and will allow users to choose the payment method that best suits their interests.
The Ministry of Security in Honduras wishes to hire data links and internet links services for different units of the Secretariat.

The licenses granted to the Chinese company will allow them to provide basic telephone services, data transmission, internet, phone and TV subscription, for terms of 10 to 20 years.
According to Elnuevodiario.com.ni "... The license to provide public telephone services nationwide was granted for ten years, according to Administrative Resolution 389-2014, contained in La Gaceta 166.

A 10 year license has been awarded to the Russian-owned company to allow them to venture into the market of data transmission services.
The Nicaraguan newspaper La Gaceta published "...Awarded to the company Yota de Nicaragua SA License 2014-TD-001 for permission to operate and provide data transmission services, as a service of general interest from the date of signing of the license agreement, until 30 January 2024."
The draft law stipulates a maximum of $242 per movement and a cumulative amount up to $970 per month in transactions made via mobile devices.
The proposal by the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) seeks to "... regulate transactions through mobile devices. This financial service, to date, is only offered by Tigo Money for Tigo telephone customers."
The launch of Digicel service is part of an investment plan in which $45 million has been invested to modernize the technological infrastructure.
In the first year of execution of the the 2013-2015 Master Investment Plan $30 million will be invested and the remaining $15 million will be invested over the next two years.
