Electronic signature certifiers can now register themselves in the recently inaugurated Registry of Certification Service Providers.
The Registry of Certification Service Providers (RPSC, acronym in Spanish) will enable the operation of entities that provide electronic signature certification. In order to become members of RPSC, companies have to pay $170,000 for registration plus approximately $2,450 to begin the process of operation, reported Skarlette Anthone, Executive Director of RPSC, to Prensalibre.com. Ms. Anthone also stated, “At this time, three companies have expressed their interest in becoming members of the registry, along with executives and lawyers.”
