The Guatemalan fast food chain opened its third restaurant in Barcelona, Spain.
The opening is part of the agreement with Eat Out group.
Juan José Gutiérrez, Pollo Campero's chief executive, announced the plan of the chain's international expansion with new openings in Brighton (UK), Milan (Italy), New Delhi (India) scheduled for November and December.
In El Salvador, “Pollo Campero” will open two restaurants using Spanish brand “Pans & Company”.
This is the first result of the alliance between two restaurant groups: Pollo Campero and Group Eat Out (owner of Pans & Company). Said alliance was announced a year ago, but was made official with this announcement.
The agreement also includes opening two new Pans & Company restaurants in Guatemala, where there is already one.
The Spanish multi-national Eat Out and Pollo Campero signed an agreement on April 29 to form an alliance to expand the operations of both companies in Central America and Spain.
The companies created a new corporation, whose name was not revealed, in which Eat Out is the majority shareholder. Eat Out belongs to Grupo Agrolimen and Pollo Campero is part of the Guatemalan multi-national Multi Inversiones.
