The financing is coming from loans obtained from the World Bank and Alba Caruna, for the modernization of the fishing sector.
According to elnuevodiario.com.ni "the objective of the program is to improve security conditions throughout each step in the fishing process, and hence loans will be made available to fishermen who are members of cooperatives or who work individually.
