The Korean Chamber of Commerce and Export Councils at AGEXPORT is opening up business opportunities in Korea in the sectors of textiles, health, technology, food, clothing and the environment. These are the sectors that export councils at AGEXPORT and the Guatemalan Korean Chamber of Trade have identified as having opportunities for the second Commercial Mission, Korea Trade 2017.The aim is to achieve a turnover of at least USD $10 million, in order to hold negotiations and agreements that occur within the conjunctural framework under NAFTA.
Companies from Taiwan working in technology, manufacturing, medical equipment, industrial safety and other sectors will be exploring business opportunities from August 11 to 14 in Managua.
Business negotiation wheels are part of the ExpoTaiwan, organized by the Embassy of that nation in Nicaragua.Taking part in the event will be Taiwanese companies working in information technology, electronic security, medical equipment, shoes, industrial safety, carpets, machinery and equipment for packaging, industry animal feed and fuels solutions, hair products and articles for the home, among other things.
This week 30 businessmen and government representatives from the State of Texas will meet with their Panamanian counterparts to explore business opportunities.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that "... The trade mission will be chaired by the Deputy Governor of the State of Texas, Dan Patrick, and will be accompanied by the Consul of Panama in Texas, Juan B. Sosa, participants will visit the locks of the Panama Canal, the Panama Pacific logistics project, hold meetings with government entities, Panamanian business people and graduates from various universities in Texas. "
