In the first six months of the year, four fast food franchises have opened six new restaurants.
With an investment of $3.5 million, the firm QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), owner of the franchises KFC, Quiznos, and Teriyaki, opened three locations in Santa Ana. Arcos Dorados, the owner of the McDonald’s franchise, opened three locations in San Ramon, Grecia, and Liberia.
The company is scheduled to open three new restaurants in Santa Ana by end of March.
Daniel Valverde, brand and sales manager for KFCCosta Rica informed Elfinancierocr.com: "The establishments are in the new Villa Platino shopping center which is located on the highway that connects San Antonio de Belén to Santa Ana. With these transactions, the company will have 24 KFC, 16 Quiznos and 5 Teriyaki restaurants, for a total of 45 establishments.
