The government's proposal includes land titling, road improvements in production areas, international promotion and funding and technical assistance for producers.

President Juan Orlando Hernández signed on Tuesday, in the Francisco Morazán room at Government House, two agreements to develop and promote the coffee industry in the country in terms of land titling and improving the roads leading to the farms which produce coffee.
Sugar producers are demanding respect for legitimate ownership of 10,000 hectares of plantations and mills currently under dispute.
The Association of Sugar Producers of Honduras (APAH) is demanding respect for the legitimacy of the possessions of mill owners and independent growers in light of the situation where 10,000 hectares of various properties are subject to litigation. "... concerns are being raised over the fact that the argument over the agrarian ceilings are leaving in question the legitimacy of private property."
Swiss investors presented a project to the Honduran President for the cultivation of sunflower seed, which has an investment of $15 million.
