In El Salvador a tender is being prepared for the construction of a complex of 226 homes in the town of San Pedro Masahuat, department of La Paz.

In the specifications it states that the project, to be financed under the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), involves the construction of 151 permanent houses and 75 plots with housing foundations, all of them with deep foundations.
The Ministry of Public Works has announced that work on the specifications of the tender for the construction of two bridges in Anguiatú and La Hachadura, both border crossings with Guatemala.
The authorities plan for the tenders to be held in the course of this year, to start with the construction of bridges in 2016. This project aims to replace the existing crossings which connect with Guatemala in the western area.

The government negotiates with Mexico to obtain $128 million from the Yucatán Initiative to expand to four lanes the road going to the port of La Libertad and to build two bridges on the borders of La Hachadura and Aguiatú.
Of the $128 million earmarked for these projects, half is from a grant from the Government of Mexico and the rest from a loan that the country will obtain from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration.

A tender is being launched for the construction of three underpasses in high cargo traffic areas in the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador.
The projects already have the respective designs and refer to the Naciones Unidas and Masferrer roundabouts in the south and north ends of Jerusalem Avenue and at the intersection of highway and street Huizúcar Comalapa. The investment for the construction of three underpasses is around $25 million.
The new government has announced plans to implement improvement works on the road network of the country in the next three years.
The complete renovation of the road to the port of La Libertad and improvements in neighboring bridges are part of the works estimated at $650 million that the Ministry of Public Works announced will be undertaken in the country.
It will connect the cities of La Hachadura and Pedro de Alvarado, an area where 60% of intraregional trade circulates.
