From April 12th to 15th 2015 maritime industry representatives will be gathering together in Panama City to take part in business meetings and address issues such as formats for permits and concessions in maritime services, among others.

World Class speakers will be talking about future business activities arising from the Panama Canal; additional benefits that will be provided by the expanded canal; Comparative analysis between the Panamanian and Suez routes; the impact of the expanded Canal in regional economies in Central America and the Caribbean, and improvements to Panamanian ship registry in light of a proposal APADEMAR to improve their competitiveness.
The eleventh edition of the Panama Maritime World Conference & Exhibition, will be held from 27 February to 1 March 2013.
The Maritime Law Association of Panama and the Panama Maritime Chamber have announced the celebration of the XI Panama Maritime Conference & Exhibition from February 27 to March 1 of the current year in the Megapolis Convention Center in Panama City.
Operators from more than 20 countries will participate in the four day port event, considered to be the most important one in the region.
The inauguration will be held on February 8, 2009 and will include the presence of the Secretary General of the World Maritime Organization (OMI), Efthimios Mitropoulos, who will be the main speaker along with important local and international guest speakers from the shipping world.
This national and international conference is considered to be one of the most important maritime events in Latin America and the Caribbean.
It will be held in Panama City from February 9-11, 2009. It is organized by the Panama Maritime Law Association, which has a membership of more than 200 local lawyers, along with the Maritime Chamber which represents more than 100 maritime companies, the Panama Canal Authority and the Panama Maritime Authority.
