Fertilizers through the country have started to go down 2%, as a result of the drop in oil prices. "We are hoping that in April we see a change in prices," said Francisco Vidri, manager of DISAGRO. In fact, the government estimates that the 15,00 tonnes of fertilizer that it will get by tender in January, for delivery with improved seeds, will have more favorable prices, according to calculations by Mario Salaverria, minister of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG).
