The idea is to develop a storage facility for perishable goods coming from South America which would then be exported to the U.S.
The minister of Agricultural Develpment, Emilio Kieswetter, has visited the United States to see a new multimodal logistics platform by the company Gateway Mississippi Gulf Coast, one of the largest logistics centers in the country. It was created with the aim of speeding up exports of perishable products coming from countries like Argentina, Uruguay or Brazil.
By mid-year the country will start exporting beef to Chile.
