$ 13 Million for CA Farmers
Howard G. Buffett Foundation announced it will disburse the funds to assist 24 000 small farmers in Central America.

The resources will be channeled over the next four years through the "Purchase for Progress" program, which seeks to improve access to markets for Salvadoran, Nicaraguan and Guatemalan farmers.
Under a program to fight hunger, the U.S. Government approved $ 10 million for the country.
The funds are provided by the UN’s World Food Program (WFP), and will be loaned to small basic grains farmers.
There are seven deadly sins being committed in agricultural production in Latin America, preventing possible productivity and perpetuating poverty and underdevelopment.
Provided by the International Agricultural Development (IADF), the funds are earmarked for small farmers from the country’s south.
