Western Union doubles its Costa Rican workforce
Western Union, already the fifth leading employer in Costa Rica's services sector, is to add 600 more jobs with a move to new offices in San José's Forum II building.

The recovery which started in September 2009 has come to an end in March 2010 and since then, more than 3,000 jobs have been lost.
The government of Costa Rica will pay $2,700 per person to enterprises hiring in vulnerable sectors and whose staff remain in their posts for at least 12 months.
MoneyGram International and Citi today announced an agreement to expand MoneyGram's money transfer services to all Citi locations in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
The results of the Quarterly Business Survey highlighted that 78% of companies are ruling out making new hires this year.
