XXV Latin American Trade Congress

The participants of the XXV Latin American Foreign Trade Congress, CLACE, will have the opportunity to see new operational techniques, trends, regulations and other matters related to the development of foreign trade.

In addition, it represents an excellent opportunity for conducting business meetings, aiming to increase relations between the participating financial institutions.

Panama to host the Assembly of the Federation of Latin American Banks

Panama will host the XLII Annual Assembly of the ederation of Latin American Banks fro the 16 to the 18 of November.

The event will bring together high level representatives of the member banks of the federation and the president of the Inter-American Development Bank, Luis Alberto Moreno, will also be present.

Panama Hosts Congress on Banking Security

The XIV Latin American Congress on Banking Security will be held in Panama City on September 28 and 29.

The event, known as CELAES, will be organized by the Banking Association of Panama, and will take place in the Marriot Hotel in Panama City.

Experts on Physical Security, Information Security, Auditing, Fraud Prevention, Operations and Money Laundering will meet and discuss best practices.

New Models for Free Zones

October 2011

The XV Latin American Conference on Free Zones will discuss the challenges and opportunities they face, especially from 2015 when the WTO requires the elimination of export tax incentives.

The "XV Latin American Conference on Free Zones" will take place from 26th to 28th October this year at the Hotel Casa Santo Domingo, Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala.

On 26th and 27th of November 500 Chinese businessmen will take part in business meetings with 300 representatives from Latin American companies seeking to generate new business.

According to Anabel Gonzalez, Minister of Foreign Trade, they expect the involvement of 300 employers in the region and they have been organizing business meetings for the summit in the form of plenary sessions, parallel meetings and roundtable discussions at high-level .
