Where to Invest in San Pedro Sula

In the Northwest of the city a square yard is worth up to $300, and there is still plenty of space available.

Monday, May 15, 2017

An article on Laprensa.hn reports that "... The cost of a square yard of land located in the northwest quadrant is between $150 and $300, due to the fact that this area has become one of the most exclusive in the city."

Seven vertical housing projects under construction are an example of the dynamism in the development of roads, residences and commercial spaces in the area.

"... Experts predict that in the next five to 10 years, the northwest will continue to lead in the residential sector. William Hall, representative of Inmobiliaria del Valle (Invalle), in charge of the construction of the Ciudad Maya residential complex, said that in the last 10 years real estate values in the north-west have been increasing. 'Real estate developments have different conditions than they had previously, such as security'.  Hall pointed out that the inhabitants have everything within their reach, because of the creation of schools, commercial plazas, supermarkets and other services."

Panama: New Housing Boom, but Lower Prices

May 2011

In Panama, the construction sector is seeing the same high levels of growth that existed before the crisis, however residential properties prices are falling.

Unlike other countries in the region, the effect of the global recession of 2008 on property investment in Panama was not very serious. The slight impact resulted in a small reduction in prices and a decrease in the growth rate of new constructions.
