Walmart's new Customer Services Center (CSC) will be equipped with a technology platform to answer queries and receive comments and suggestions. It will be open seven days a week from 7am to 10pm.
A spokeswoman for the chain said that after three years the municipality of Mejicanos still has not given permission for a site which means an investment of $15 million.
Convergys, an American company specializing in the service area, opened its third center in the country.
The company expects the region to add 33 million consumers between 2000 and 2025.
For this transaction, Walmex will pay $110 million in cash and issue stock for $593 million.
