Tocumen Tenders Works for $4 million

The Administration of Tocumen International Airport has put out a tender for the design and construction of a new access road to the cargo terminal.

The tender is for the study, design and construction of airport facilities at the Access Control Point and operational reorganization of existing infrastructure, and the freight terminal of the International Airport of Tocumen, SA

The new facilityare being built because of the need to relocate this activity to its current site, motivated by the construction of a new access road to the cargo terminal. The facilities will be dedicated to the control of entry and exit of goods and cargo, handled by different companies dedicated to handling and transportation, according to the procedures established by Panamanian customs laws, with the participation of other public entities related to this field.

Expected date for submission of bids is October 12, 2012.
