The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad is inviting bids for the supply of materials for improvement of the copper network.

"Materials for improvements to Copper Network (delivery on demand)."

Among the materials to be supplied are: galvanized steel clamps, telephone wires, steel belts, anti-slip iron covers, copper cables and telephone cables.

The deadline for submitting bids is July 27, 2015

Guatemala Imports More Electric Cables from Mexico

During the first quarter of the year, companies in Guatemala allocated $11 million to the purchase of electric cables in Mexico, 29% more than was reported in the same period in 2017.

Electric Wire: Imports Recover

May 2018

In 2017, purchases of electric wires and cables from Central American countries totaled $791 million and grew by 74% with respect to the previous year, in contrast to the fall recorded between 2015 and 2016.
