"Screen culture" is not just a trend in itself, but also a means through which other key trends of 2012 will manifest themselves.

Three converging megatrends will drive this culture:
- Screens will become cheaper, more mobile, will be everywhere and always on.
- Obtaining information will become more intuitive and interactive through the use of touch screens on tablets and smart phones.
- "Cloud computing": interfaces to do everything using a screen and through the web.

And it will be through the screens that consumers will get information to make their purchasing decisions.
