The agreement subscribed to by both institutions enables on-line consultations and surgeries guided by the medical specialists of the northern country, in addition to supplying instances of training by means of teleconferences. The installation of the necessary equipment will begin in May.

The article by Susana Gap in El Periodico of Guatemala indicates that Christian Guillermo, Manager of Operations of Hospital Herrera Llerandi, said "Included in the plans of Hospital Herrera Llerandi is the offering of free consultations to the Health Department. We will make the service available to the patients of public hospitals so that they can consult foreign specialists regarding special cases."
