Telefónica Panama to increase coverage with 6 radio bases
With these new bases coverage in Panama City and Colon will be strengthened and more communities from the central provinces will be included.

The base stations will be located in the sectors of La Polvareda in Arraijan, La Fragua in the Province of Veraguas, in Potuga in the Province of Herrera, Rio Gatún and Port Pilon in Colon, and an additional one in Panama City.
Claro and Movistar are bringing forward their plans to grow putting the state run ICE, until recently a monopoly, under pressure.
Telefonica Movistar launch the first 3.5G network in Panama yesterday which will provide better mobile internet connection.
The phone company will invest in the installation of 200 transmission antennas to expand its coverage in the country.
There are now more cell phone subscribers than inhabitants in Panama.
