ExpoTaiwan will be held at the Olof Palme Convention Center and will feature more than thirty companies from Taiwan.
During the 3 days of the fair latest generation products will be exhibited from the sectors of transportation, IT, construction, solar energy, hardware, agricultural and industrial equipment.
The Taiwanese ambassador to Nicaragua, Jaime (Chin-Mu) Wu, explained to El19digital.com that "...Within the framework of the event, two trade missions of Taiwanese businesspeople who will be in Nicaragua between August 24 and 29 have been organized, because they are interested in meat and seafood.The other mission is investors interested in the textile sector and agribusiness."
July 18 will see the arrival of a delegation of Asian companies interested in machinery, coffee and other sectors, who will be meeting with local business people.
Representatives from the embassy of the Asian country in Honduras reported that the delegation that will arrive this week, will have several meetings with entrepreneurs in the private sector and others interested in exploring investment opportunities.
A group of entrepreneurs from the Asian nation will be visiting Nicaragua to buy coffee and cocoa, and also explore new opportunities with local companies in the meat industry.
The delegation consists of 14 businesspeople interested in buying mainly coffee and cocoa.According to the Taiwanese ambassador in Nicaragua, Jaime Wu, most of them will be visiting the country for the first time.
Companies from Taiwan working in technology, manufacturing, medical equipment, industrial safety and other sectors will be exploring business opportunities from August 11 to 14 in Managua.
Business negotiation wheels are part of the ExpoTaiwan, organized by the Embassy of that nation in Nicaragua.Taking part in the event will be Taiwanese companies working in information technology, electronic security, medical equipment, shoes, industrial safety, carpets, machinery and equipment for packaging, industry animal feed and fuels solutions, hair products and articles for the home, among other things.
Up until March 18 a delegation of 51 Taiwanese companies will be in the country exploring business sectors of spare parts for cars and motorcycles, hardware and construction.
