TACA increases flights to Uruguay

The airline announced that it is added 3 flights via Asuncion to the 4 direct flights to Peru, now connecting Montevideo with Lima everyday during the week.

"TACA already flies daily to the Uruguayan capital from Lima and back, providing a flow of commercial and tourism exchange between both countries. The market has been growing significantly and sustainably due to the facility and opportunity that has been provided to business and tourist passengers, who previously did not have access to fly directly to Uruguay. And regarding passengers traveling from Montevideo to Lima, they now have the option of using several routes via TACA's hub in PERU with links throughout the region and the Americas," Nani Garrues, Sales Director at TACA South America, pointed out.

Dairy Products From Uruguay Allowed to Enter Panama

Panamanian food authorities have given permission for six facilities to export Uruguayan dairy to that market.

On Wednesday May 22 this year, both the General Director of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay (MGAP) Alberto Castelar, and the Director of the International Affairs Unit Alejandro Mernies of the same ministry announced a new breakthrough in international integration as part of the Government's strategic guidelines in market diversification.This news was that Panamanian food safety authorities have given permission for six facilities to export Uruguayan bovine dairy products to that market.

Lufthansa Signs Codeshare Agreement with TACA

The agreement applies to flights between Frankfurt (Germany) and El Salvador via Miami, and Frankfurt and Lima (Peru) via Caracas.

With a single ticket from Lufthansa, passengers can fly TACA segments and access the TACA route network in both hubs also benefiting from the frequent flyer programs of both airlines.

Uruguayan Companies Look to do Business in Costa Rica

A well-rounded group of Uruguayan businessmen interested in buying and selling various products and services will participate in a business meeting.

The rounds of negotiations will take place next April 23 and 24 at the Real Intercontinental Hotel in San Jose. They were organized by Procomer and the Uruguayan Embassy, and they are supported by Costa Rican business associations.

TACA adds Asuncion in Paraguay to its destinations

There will be 6 weekly flights, three will be direct and the other three via Montevideo.

Passengers arriving from Paraguay will have connections to more than 30 destinations in the Americas from the TACA hub in Lima. The new route will promote cultural, tourism and cargo exchange in the region.
