TACA: 91.85% of Flights on-Time
The airline presented its punctuality rate for the first three months of 2009.

Pa-Digital.com.pa published statements by Estuardo Ortíz, TACA executive vice president and COO: "We know our clients organize their itineraries based on a scheduled agenda, therefore flight timeliness is a key element that determines their satisfaction when using airline services. At Taca, this is why we are concerned about getting them to their destinations on time, and we continue to work with quality and excellence in order to maintain the highest levels of OTP. We make an ongoing effort to identify the opportunities for improvement that we may have and avoid delays or other circumstances that negatively affect our operation."
The airline added flights to Orlando, Houston, Rotán, San Pedro Sula and Cancun.
As of November 15th the cities of Tegucigalpa and Miami will have a daily direct flight with TACA Airlines.
Two weekly flights between La Ceiba and Grand Cayman were added to the airline's regional services o April 2.
TACA has announced a direct flight between Havana and San Salvador, operating three times per week, beginning August 6.
