TACA: 91.85% of Flights on-Time

The airline presented its punctuality rate for the first three months of 2009.

New TACA Flights and Destinations

September 2009

The airline added flights to Orlando, Houston, Rotán, San Pedro Sula and Cancun.

From September 1st and up to November 15th, TACA Airlines will expand its destinations, as part of an effort to satisfy its clients and reactivate the commercial aviation market. Additionally, the airline is offering the Lima-Mexico route three times a week.

New Non-Stop Flight Miami - Tegucigalpa

October 2010

As of November 15th the cities of Tegucigalpa and Miami will have a daily direct flight with TACA Airlines.

The flight will be operated on an Embraer E90 jet airplane, and will be an addition to other flights operated through connections in El Salvador.

Estuardo Ortiz, TACA and Avianca COO, said, "offer a direct option for passengers traveling between these two cities due to increased passenger demand.

TACA Launches Grand Cayman - Honduras Flights

April 2009

Two weekly flights between La Ceiba and Grand Cayman were added to the airline's regional services o April 2.

TACA is the first airline to offer direct flights between Grand Cayman and Honduras. They will be done with ATR 42 planes that have capacity for 46 passengers.

Direct Flights Cuba - El Salvador

July 2011

TACA has announced a direct flight between Havana and San Salvador, operating three times per week, beginning August 6.

TACA Airlines have announced a new nonstop service between El Salvador and Havana, Cuba from August 6. The flight will operate three times a week offering immediate connections to flights arriving in the Connections Center at El Salvador in the morning hours.
