Sweden Opens its Doors to Honduran Exports

Sweden wants to increase bilateral trade with Honduras, from its mere $215,000 a year, and for this reason, its office, Open Trade Gate Sweden is provided more information and training to private companies so that they can export from Honduras to this Nordic country.

A free service will be given to those wishing to obtain further information from state agencies and services linked to the Honduran Council of Private Enterprise (COHEP) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said a representative of the Swedish mission, reported Latribuna.hn.

Sweden is a market of nine million people with high purchasing power and demand who have a penchant for organic products, and could serve as a bridge to the markets of Norway and Finland.
