"An energy project is planned to be built in La Unión, which consists of the installation of a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 4.8 MW, consisting of photovoltaic modules on a floor structure. It is estimated to generate 9,636 MWh/year of energy with a supply voltage of 115 kV to the ETESAL La Union substation network.
The plant will consist of 7,400 ground-mounted photovoltaic modules of 660 Wp technology, mounted on a metal support structure. The photovoltaic modules will be installed vertically in rows of 102 modules connected in series, mounted on a metallic structure, which will consist of 40 modules each. For the transformation of direct current (dc) into alternating current (ac), there will be 40 inverter units, with an estimated power of 110 mw each.
These inverters are to be connected to four voltage transformers of 1250 Kva power and 480V/277V/23Kv transformation ratio. Subsequently, they will be connected to a 30 Mva power transformer where the voltage will be raised to 115 Kv to evacuate the energy generated to the ETESAL la unión substation.
See the construction platform for more information."
