Salvadoran interested in Honduran "quesillo" cheese
Some 23 Honduran craft plants that produce milk products will be visited throughout the rest of the year by Salvadoran Animal Sanitation inspectors.

The purpose of said visits is to verify whether or not they are meeting international sanitary requirements; once this is verified they can begin to export the "quesillo" to El Salvador.
A Honduran delegation will meet with the Salvadoran Agricultural minister next week to find a definitive solution to the problem.
Honduran cattle farmers hope an agreement between authorities in El Salvador and Honduras will solve the trade conflict on dairy products.
Honduran authorities announced they will file a complaint against El Salvador at the Central American Integration Secretary.
Domestic milk consumption is growing at 3.9% annually, while exports in 2010 reached $74 million, compared to $49 million sold abroad in 2008.
