Tender for Passport Books

In the Dominican Republic, the General Directorate of Passports is tendering the service of making 500 thousand notebooks for the issuance of machine-readable passports.

Dominican Republic Government Purchase PASSPORTS-CCC-LPN-2020-0001:

"The notebooks must be 88x125 mm in closed position, with rounded corners, and with 48 interior pages. The booklet shall comply with the requirements of ICAO document 9303/1.

The call for tender is made based on a supply of the fixed amount of 500 thousand booklets, for a period of less than 8 months. The final time will be determined in the contract, subject to the successful bid."

Reference value: $3,500,000.

Deadline for receipt of bids: March 4, 2020.

Guatemala Passport Tender Postponed

August 2013

The Ministry of Government has postponed for the third time the receipt of bids for the passport book and migration services tender.  

According to Fernando Lucero, spokesman for the Office of Migration (DGM), the new extension is due a change in the specifications to improve the quality of the booklets and also because there were a number of questions from the bidders.
