Regional Poultry Congress to be held in Nicaragua

The 20th Central American and Caribbean Poultry Congress will be held from September 24-26.

The Congress will bring together business people, government and international representatives, according to representatives from the Nicaraguan Food and Poultry Producers Association (Anapa).
The event will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel Convention Center in Managua, and will have the participation of at least 90 business at the meeting on goods and services of the poultry sector in general.

Poultry Congress in Nicaragua

April 2015

Representatives from the poultry sector will meet on August 5th and 6th to discuss issues such as the elimination of chicken imports from the US.

This convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center and the participation of over a hundred poultry entrepreneurs, representatives from universities and government authorities is expected.

Poultry Congress in Panama

On November 18th and 19th companies in the poultry sector will gather together in Panama City to discuss issues such as trends in egg consumption, new production techniques and marketing.

Nicaragua: Prospects for the Poultry Industry

In the first half the year slaughter went up by 6% compared to the same period in 2014, and the industry expects to end 2015 with an annual increase of 8%.

In the case of egg production the increase during the first half of the year compared to the same period of 2014 was 11%, according to figures from the Central Bank of Nicaragua.

Nicaraguan poultry companies to export to Venezuela

August 2008

By September they should be carrying out the first exports of chicken to Venezuela.

Nicaraguan business have been doing an analysis of their individual industrial capacity, to determine the volume that they will be sending to the South American country, said Alfredo Velez, President of Anapa.
