Exports of coffee from Honduras have reached a record high of at least $ 568 million.

El Salvador's coffee exports increase

June 2008

Exports of coffee from El Salvador rose by 29 percent in May, compared with the same period in 2007.

Revenues increased by 46 percent, reflecting higher world prices, the El Salvador Coffee Board said.
In May of this year El Salvador exported 241,060 quintals of coffee, compared with 187,298 quintals last year. A quintal is equivalent to about 46 kilograms or about 100 pounds.

Honduras: Coffee exports $ 600 Million

For the 2009-2010 coffee harvest, coffee exports reached a new record.

The previous record had been in 2007-2008, with a total harvest of $ 594 million.

Guatemalan coffee exports will grow 4.43%
