A press release issued by the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promotion Office (PROCOMER) reads:

After developing a Market Map of Turkey, the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promotion Office (PROCOMER) determined that there are 457 tariff subheadings whose products have potential to be exported to Turkey, a market with more than 79 million inhabitants and whose economic growth for 2013 could be 4%.

This territory, whose location makes it a strategic country for Costa Rican exports as it is a bridge between Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East, offers opportunities for Costa Rican products such as milk powder, ornamentals, coffee, palm oil, conserved palm fruits, vaccines, medicines, fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, hides and other products that could assist the metalworking industry niches, and articles of iron and steel and automotive rubber and seals.

Turkey Increased its Presence in Expocomer by 5 Times

The group Tuskon Evrensel, the largest in Turkey, increased the number of spaces used by its companies to exhibit at the largest trade show in Panama from 8 in 2013 to 42 in 2014 .

Capital.com.pa reports that "... For the second consecutive year, a group of Turkish businessmen from TUSKON Evrensel, the largest in the country, participated in the exhibition with 26 companies in the 32nd version of the Expocomer Fair, a regional trade window which this year brought together more than 500 companies from all over Latin America."

Turkey Interested in Panamanian Pineapple
